Returns and Warranty
What is covered, what is not, and how to start a return. No fine-print games.
Returns
You have 30 days from the day your part is delivered to start a return. Contact us first at +1-308-380-7781 or through the contact page so we can issue a return authorization. Returns sent back without an authorization cannot be processed.
- Parts must come back uninstalled, unmodified, and in the condition we shipped them.
- If we shipped the wrong part or the part arrived defective, we make it right at no cost to you, including the return shipping.
- If the part is correct and undamaged and you simply no longer need it, return shipping is your responsibility and a 20 percent restocking fee applies. The fee is waived any time the error was ours, including a fitment error on a part we matched for you.
- Electrical and electronic parts, such as modules, computers, sensors, starters, and alternators, are final sale once installed. This is standard across the parts industry because an installed electrical part cannot be restocked.
- Core deposits are refunded in full when your old core comes back to us within 30 days in rebuildable condition.
Warranty
Used parts carry a 30-day parts warranty from the delivery date unless your quote states a longer term. Major assemblies such as engines and transmissions often carry longer coverage, and your quote will say so explicitly. New and remanufactured parts carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we pass through to you.
A warranty claim gets you a replacement part or a refund of the part price. Like nearly every parts seller, we do not cover labor, towing, rental cars, fluids, or other costs around the installation, and the warranty does not apply when a part has been installed incorrectly, modified, overheated, or used in racing or other abuse. Engines must be installed with proper fluids, new filters, and the cooling system verified, which is the same requirement any engine supplier will give you.
